In April we welcomed UK journalists and bloggers Fiona McLean from London Unattached, Angela Silver from Silver Spoon and Neil Sowerby from Manchester Confidential. During their stay at Benvengudo, they had the opportunity to have a guided tour of Palais des Papes in Avignon (our guide explained us the fascinating history of the Avignon papacy), to discover the property and taste the wines of Mas de la Dame (the owner showed us hidden corners of this beautiful property of 60 hectares of vineyards), to visit the Carrières de Lumières and the Castle of Les Baux, and to taste Olive Oil at Moulin Castellas. They also could enjoy the cuisine of our Chef Stephane Gautier who prepared dishes based on local seasonal ingredients like violet artichokes and white asparagus.
